Who is it for?

Boys and girls of all abilities 5 – 16 years old. This exciting event is for children that already do gymnastics and for children that want to try gymnastics for the first time.

What is it?

The Energetic Games is an Olympic themed participation event that is going to be so much fun! It’s designed for children of all abilities. The Energetic coaching team will bring out the champion in every child with a variety of fun apparatus, Olympics activities, team games and individual challenges.

It’s happening the day after the 2016 Olympic Games Opening Ceremony in Rio and the day before the 2016 Energetic Cup. The Traralgon Sports Stadium will be transformed into a gymnastics arena with Olympic quality equipment including a vault, uneven bars, balance beam and sprung floor.

Everyone that participates in the Energetic Games will receive a medal and certificate, as well as a free child’s ticket to watch the Energetic Cup.

What to wear?

Get your Olympic spirit on and dress in the theme of your favourite country or sport. Comfortable fitted clothes are best for doing gymnastics. Denim, buckles and jewellery should not be worn. Gymnastics leotards are great but not compulsory. Olympic themed coloured hair and face paint is encouraged!

Can’t make it?

We have some vacancies in our Term 3 classes. We offer recreational and competitive gymnastics classes for boys and girls aged 1+.  If you want to discuss options for your child, please get in touch, we’d love to hear from you.
